Happy Anniversary to my love! Gordon had a business trip to Sweden and then to France for two weeks and he got home the day before our 10 year anniversary! When he got home we went out for a much needed date night! He'd been gone for too long and I had been working on the project room for the entire time that he was gone and besides taking a shower every night, I really needed an excuse to get all dolled up for him to go somewhere!! He took me to Leblon's - a Brazilian Steakhouse. It was just as good as I remember! We had been once before years ago. It was so nice to sit and eat a quiet meal together. We had Bonnie with us - just in case she needed to nurse, so we weren't completely without children, but it was perfect and I loved the quiet and romantic dinner time together! Ahhhh! I love my man! He's had my heart from day one and I hope the next 10 years are just as wonderful, if not better! I love you babe!

Transformation!!!!!
I have been a busy little bee the last few weeks! We are moving into the house that Gordon grew up in and it needs a little TLC. It's an older house and the family room has wall to wall wood paneling...nice. However, not my taste at all. So before we make the BIG move, I have been over there almost every day cleaning it up and painting and painting and more painting. The room also had popcorn ceilings and they were not attractive at all so I also spent a good amount of time (days) removing the ceiling and sanding it down. The entire room needed to be sanded down and once that was done, it was ready to be primed and then painted.
My wonderful mom surprised me with a visit to NC and all she packed was her grubbies and she and I went straight to work on that room. We had some laughs, we had some tears and we certainly have the back pain to prove how hard this job was!! She is such a trooper and I can't thank her enough for coming all the way to help me!! It would not have gotten done with out her help! No one will ever know how hard this room really was to get done - except for her! Thank you mom for all of your help and everytime I am in this room now I will think of you and all your hard work!!
Here are some BEFORE and AFTER pictures of the room...I am pretty proud of it and I am SO glad that after hours of hard core labor, it's finally done!!
