Bonnie turned 7 months old! She is SO CUTE!
It actually did get cold enough for a fire this winter. We've had an unusually warm winter so we were excited to lite it up a few nights in a row. We made Smores and they were very tastey!
We can't get enough of these two rascals! They are two peas in a pod! They are looking at a family picture book of themselves and just cracking up!
Since we had so many nice days to be outside, we were outside A LOT! The girls love to be outside and play in the dirt and explore the yard!
Evelyn has a knack for drawing! She's so good at it! She loves to draw and color and will do so hours!! We have many sheets of her art work on display at the house and she love to show off her work to visitors!!
Bonnie looks like she is being starved doesn't she?!! She started eating graham crackers and cheerios and animal cookies...then she went into avocado slices, bananas, peas, carrots, and her favorite...homemade mac-n-cheese! She is SUCH a good eater! Little Bon Bon!!!!!!
If you come to our house around 6:30pm every night, you will hear loud, bumping music on the streets coming from the house because we have DANCE PARTIES! The girls typically get dressed up and we put on music that has a fast pace and upbeat tempo...Evelyn really likes Techno!! The girls dance until bedtime and it's hillarious to watch! This is Claire doing the 'Robot'.
Guilty Pleasure! We got a deep fryer recently (everyone should have one) and we made homemade potatoe chips with homemade ranch dressing. BETTER than the restaurants!!! Mmmmm Good!
On this day outside, the girls were riding their bikes and they came across and worm. It was baking in the sun, but not quite dead yet. The girls decided to bring him "gifts" of flowers and dirt and grass. They arranged their gifts around the worm in the form of a wreath and then they watched it dry up and die. Oh nature!! LOL!
We had a great New Years spent with Peter and Julie (Gordon's brother and his wife) and their son Jared. We played games (I think I won every game, but who's counting!!!??) We had yummy snacks to eat the whole night and the traditional sparkling cider to toast with at midnight. Since having kids, our 'night life' has changed quite a bit, but we have found that we enjoy New Year's spent watching the ball drop in NYC on TV. It was a fun night and with great company!
Happy New Year! (a little late!!) LOL!
